Hello! Just wanna talk about something really serious. Here it goes.. I got a big crush on someone right now. Eyes, melting-smile, aww. That's something really tough for someone like me not to look at. Through all that kilig feelings I feel whenever I see that someone, I found out something really painful. That someone I'm talking about already loves someone. :'( Why I'm feeling this way? It's because I assumed that the one I love, loves me too. I just can't understand how ironic life is. You love him/her, but he/she loves someone else. Damn! :'( Do these things really have to end up this way? I mean, can God just change your mind and make you realize that you love me too? Ha-ha-ha. :'(( Sorry, I maybe suffering from Erotomania. :'( Lesson learned? Never assume. :/ :'(( Good night.

Read my older posts and I just can't help but laugh. HAHAHAHAHA. I have been a registered user of blogger since 2nd year high school. Back when I was still doing all the Jejemon stuff, the way I encode words, the way I construct my English sentences, shit! That was horrible! Hahaha. I've lost my connection here for ages. 16 years is pretty long, I must say..

But throughout those years, I wasn’t able to find my happiness (so far)..

I’m not literally unhappy.

Yeah, my family and friends always put a smile on my face.

Happy new year to everyone! Year 2009 has been a memorable year to all of us. There are lots of things that happened from the past 12 months. And one of the most unforgettable things that I will never forget is that when Typhoon Ondoy hit our country(Philippines). Many Filipinos died, many houses have been destroyed. But despite of what has happened, we were able to move on and live a new life. We should be thankful to all the volunteers who extended their helping hands to help the other families who are in dire need. Anyway, it's the first day of the year 2010, and another days are yet to come. Another chance for us to change all the wrong deeds. And I hope that we welcome the New Year in with humor and inspiration. Let's face the year 2010 with an open mind and a loving heart! Happy New Year again! Have a great weekend! :)

The Cult of Noynoy Aquino

I’ve written so many negative and harsh articles on almost all of the Presidentiables. Most of the time, people cheer on especially if the issue is a big one. I noticed one thing though people tend to have blind faith when it comes to Senator Noynoy Aquino. It’s as if he’s made a cult out of his supporters and they rush to defend him blindly as if he’s some sort of appointed savior. Allow me to just categorically say that I find this behavior frustrating, inept, and just plain stupid.

I wrote an article recently about how Noynoy Aquino has to answer the questions being raised against him, especially with the surfacing of old news clips of him defending the dispersement of the farmers in Hacienda Luisita, which eventually resulted into a bloody massacre. Some people screamed that it was black propaganda. They put more weight on the blogger writing negatively about Noynoy than the content of the actual post.

Let me just set the record straight. Noynoy Aquino is riding on a campaign of integrity and character. He keeps on saying that this election is a battle between the “good” and the “evil” (therefore saying that he’s good and everyone else is bad). If that’s the case, then all the more reason for him to answer these issues. The Hacienda massacre is no joke. We’re talking about people dying and getting shot at. It’s about children losing their parents and vice-versa. If someone who claims to be a person of integrity and character defends that, then our value system must be totally screwed up. The more his campaign harps on how his campaign is a moral one, then the need for him to resolve this grows as well.

Black propaganda becomes black when the material being passed around has no substance and truth. What makes the recent issue credible and NOT plain propaganda is that fact that it is supported by news clippings. If you’re the type that just dismisses stuff like this and would jump in and rabidly defend Noynoy, then it’s about time that you get inducted to the “Cult of Noynoy”. Now that you’re part of the cult, go out and buy the official Cory watch. Stop using your Nokia and get one of those Cory phones. Oh, let’s not forget the black shirt with the yellow Pilipinas map design (which Bench ripped off from Collezione). Go ahead and tie a yellow ribbon on your car too.

I’ve already received word that one of my friends has photocopies of the actual clippings which was used in the video. I’ll read through the entire material and write a follow-up entry. I am hoping that the Noynoy blogger event will finally push through in January so that we can get answers directly from the horse’s mouth.

To end, let me just say that if you really want to help this country, then don’t be stupid and defend your candidate like a faithful guard dog. Ask questions, challenge the campaign staff, and push him/her to take action. Don’t forget that more than a supporter of Noynoy, you are also a Filipino and I don’t think nationalism entails blind whole-hearted trust to your candidate of choice. Put that passion and energy into actual things that can help the country and maybe then you can make a real difference.

Trick or Treat?

Just want to send my greetings of a Happy Halloween. :) I think “Happy” isn’t the appropriate adjective to describe how we feel when Halloween comes. Because I feel so scared now. Hahaha. There are so many horror movies/T.V. shows that are coming out during the Halloween season. And I always find time to watch those horror films. Those movies make me scream. And I must admit, Halloween is one of the best. :) So thats it for now. Good evening. Scary Halloween! :D

Typhoon Ondoy, a horrible experience.

A pleasant morning to all of us! How's everyone right now? Maybe some of you are cleaning their houses filled with muds. Tsk tsk tsk. I didn't expect that typhoon Ondoy can be so destructive. And I really feel so bad for the houses that have been destroyed. All that we can do for now is pray. We should believe in the power of prayer/s. Things happen for a reason. And inspite of what happened, we should still be thankful because we are safe. "ALWAYS LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE. NEVER LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE LOST."

One of my friends experienced this horrible flood somewhere in Marikina. She gave me the pictures that she took during that incident. Let me share you those pictures and you will see how Typhoon Ondoy destroyed the city of Marikina.

Charles Tiu: To everyone, please help the ondoy victims

As we all probably know by now, lest those ignorant people, we have been struck by a disaster which has changed so many of our lives in one way or another. There are countless victims out there, our friends, people we may not know and there are also alot of people who still are missing or we have not heard word from until now. i know that a lot of people feel this way, just based from what they tell me, that they always want to do something to help the less fortunate and the people in this country, but they do not know how. Well, now is the perfect chance for that. EVERYONE can contribute and make a difference here, regardless of how much you are willing to give. If all of us could just spare something, no matter how small, a lot of lives can be saved, but if we tell ourselves that "i'm just one person, i can't make a difference, what i give won't help anyone" then we are failing ourselves without even trying, because for sure, if all of us thought this way then no help would be done at all, but instead, if we all decide to give even the smallest of contributions and pool them all together, they would be a big big help for the people. It's time to stop being all talk, and take responsibility for what is going on, time to put into action, because after all, it is our fault in one way or another why this has happened (Al Gore we hear you!)

We just came from Marikina and saw firsthand how devastated that city is, and not to mention all the different stories we have been hearing. While there is no better feeling than to be able to help someone, there also is this feeling of anger burning up inside me, because i know that no matter what, not everyone can be saved. No matter how much we give, it still won't be enough for some. Just handing over the goods to the people in the area we went to, and seeing how some of them were already fighting for it, jumping lines and arguing, and seeing how the goods we have weren't enough is very painful, because those people will not be able to survive without food.

But at the same time, i am very proud to see a lot of my friends, students, alumni or whoever, just giving their whole day to try and help these people. A lot of these people volunteered their cars (i'm sure to the horror of their parents) and went to the areas affected by the rain, and just gave goods, while a lot of other students have been in Ateneo since morning until night time and they probably are going to stay there and sleep there. It says a lot about them, and i definitely salute them. These are the real heroes we have, and the kind of people our country needs.

To everyone else, there still is a chance to help. I'm sure wherever you are, there are a lot of drop off areas for relief goods. But if you cannot find any, then by all means feel free to help out in Ateneo. We are still in need of a lot of goods, clothes, biscuits, water and food. Starting at 6am tomorrow there will be people manning the station in the College Covered Courts, so please feel free to drop by and give assistance, or give goods. They will start mobilizing again and sending goods to different areas by 1pm, but you can come and help anytime of the day.

Remember, one person can make a huge difference

Ateneo's most crucial moment.

Maybe most of us, witnessed the Ateneo vs. FEU match last Sept.12,2009. And I must admit, FEU Tamaraws are the better team to match up with the Blue Eagles this season. Although I was expecting that La Salle can make it to the semis, but too bad 'coz they didn't make it. Anyways, have to get back to the topic. :) The match between the Blue Eagles and Tamaraws last Sept.12, made all of our hearts beat so fast. There was a moment when I find myself screaming from the top of my lungs just to cheer the Blue Eagles. And it's worth it. :) So let me share you some of the pictures from the game that was taken by me.

sorry for disappearing for almost a week.. i got so busy this past few days.. and so here i am, sharing some of Charles Tiu's(Chris Tiu's brother) notes posted on his Facebook account.. i'm inspired about the topics he posted.. Charles and his brother, Chris, are both good in writing.. so let me share you some of his post that really caught my attention.

Charles Tiu: Politics?

I find myself at home with nothing left to do before sleeping (of course since i am quite lazy to study), so i might as well speak my mind again.

First of all, i am quite saddened by the news of that ship which sank in Zamboanga. I pray for all those who were not fortunate enough to be rescued.

I am also quite happy that I may finally have someone to vote for in the 2010 Presidential Elections. Should Noynoy Aquino run, i definitely will be giving him my vote. You see, it is going to be my first time ever to vote and i am quite excited already. I may not know much about politics and i do not even know if he will be capable enough to be in the shoes of the president. But i do know for a fact, that we here we have a genuine person, who has a good character and good values, and he is someone who really will put his country above his personal interests. I just want honest leaders for a change. We've tried leaders who may have had the capabilities to do something, but their greed and corruption has definitely destroyed this country even more. As a Filipino, i realize that life here is not that easy, especially when compared to the other first world countries who get a lot of different benefits. Realistically speaking, this won't change immediately, maybe not until another 15 more years or something. But i would rather live in a world like this for as long as i know i am not being cheated, especially by the own people whom we put our trust in, to guide our country supposedly. So anyway, i am just hoping that Aquino does run and just shows people what it means to be honest.

One thing i will not accept though, is if that former president wins the elections again. That will be like having your wife sleep around with your brother, bestfriend, barkada, and whoever, and yet, you still would take her back! That is totally absurd. I mean, come on! Here we have a guy who has been proven guilty of stealing from our country and all sorts of different stuff, a corrupt official who has been in jail already for it, and yet, we still would let him run for our country. Just the fact that we are even considering voting for him makes me want to puke. It just goes to show the things we value in our country are different nowadays. Fame can get you anywhere.

And to Mikee Arroyo, for once you made me feel ashamed to be an Atenean.

The American dream tells them that through hardwork, perseverance and determination, they can become successful in life. IT also tells them that all men are created equal.
I am quite saddened to know, that the "Filipino Dream", is to be able to work in America.

Charles Tiu: to everybody belittling an athlete.

Charles Barkley, my favorite basketball player, once said that athletes are not role models.
I beg to differ in some way. First of all, i believe athletes can be role models, if you choose the right one. There also are a lot of athletes whom we people should not follow - at all! But what people tend to forget almost all the time, is that these athletes are just human beings like us! In no way are they perfect. Whenever people see athletes making mistakes in their lives, it gets so magnified and people make such a big deal out of it, when in reality, those are so common in the lives of everybody else.

I hear a lot of people complaining about athletes and their lifestyles. I know it's not good to live in excess when people are suffering, but i believe that we should cut them some slack. God gave them talents and they made the most out of it which is why they got to where they are. It's their way of making their living too. For college athletes on the other hand, people complain about how they get star treatment and all those things in school. But do the other students fail to recognize that these guys are representing the school, and in no way it is easy to be a student-athlete. While normal people spend at most 6-9 hours in school, these guys spend an extra four hours just practicing. It really is time consuming and draining. And you can't even have privacy wherever you go (tell me about it, first hand experience cause of brother!) But anyway, it just is quite sad how people love labeling athletes as dumb and all sorts of stereotypes they can come up with. It just happens that their talent is in sports, rather than brains. Can't have everything in life you know.

And the true value i see, of these athletes/celebrities, is that they have capability to change people's lives. Whether through simply devoting a little of their time, posing for pictures and smiling, you can see how many people are touched by these simple acts, especially their fans. Or through their charity work, visiting different less fortunate places, just out of their free will, these guys make a lot of other people happy (and yes, they really do, they just don't get any publicity for it, because it comes from the heart). I strongly believe that the way the athletes carry themselves on the court, is different from who they really are outside of it. These guys are really nice guys who are ordinary just like us, yet also extraordinary in that they make the most out of their god-given talents.

Discovering my talents.

if somebody asked you to define music, what will you say?.. kinda hard, right? for me, music is one of the most important thing in this world. it makes our day bright, and makes us strong for the challenges that will come our way. whatever kind of song that you are listening, it reflects of what mood you have……. and all of us must admit that everyone loves music..

my family are music lovers.. my aunts and uncles loves to sing (even if they are not gifted with a good voice).. my dad plays his organ/keyboard when he was still alive.. &&& my mom also loves to sing, she also plays guitar and organ/keyboard… hahaha. and me,,, i totally love music & i also sing.. i joined my very first singing competition last january 9, 2009 in our school in RCM.. and guess what, i got the 4th placer (unfortunately.)… :’(( but anyway, life goes on. i know that i can still do my very best to pursue my dreams of becoming a singer someday. hahaha.

now, i’m discovering my new talent. hehehe. i enrolled in a organ/keyboard lesson. i want to become a great organist/pianist someday. hahaha. i’m still practicing in playing organ. too bad coz its kinda hard for me…

ADMU won their first match

Yesterday, July 12, held the first match between Ateneo and FEU in Araneta Coliseum.
the students of FEU give their best to cheer for their players. I felt their full support for their teams to win the match. the game was very tough because all of the players are so great. they wanted it so bad. if you watched the match between ADMU vs. FEU, you will see the efforts of every players to win the game. here are some of the pictures that i took during the game.

magandang araw sa inyong lhat. hindi ko alam kung paano ko uumpisahan ang dapat kong sabihin. haay. sadyang napakaraming nangyari sa araw na ito. hayaan nyong ibahagi ko sa inyo ang isang nakaka-asar na nangyari ngayong araw na ito. hmmm. medyo nakakatawa din nman. hahaha.

nangyari lng ito kanina.. umakyat kme sa classroom matapos ang aming tanghalian at nadama nmin ang sobrang init. halos makikita mo na ang sari-saring itsura na dapat mong makita. may nakasimangot, meron nmang sobrang energetic khit napaka init na.. meron din nman na nagpupunas ng kanilang mga pawis, meron ding inaantok.. haayy. halu-halo na talaga. halos hindi kami makapag concentrate sa aming diskusyon. may klase kami sa Social Studies w/ Mrs.Jamlang... mga 3:00 ng hapon. almost 2 periods na ang nakakaraan matapos ang aming tanghalian. sa kabila ng init na dala ng mataas na sikat ng araw, ay bigla na lamang umulan. nakakapag-taka hindi ba?? marahil ay dahil ito sa tinatawag nating Global Warming na isa sa mga problemang kinakaharap, hindi lang ng ating bansa kundi ng buong mundo. sa sobrang lakas ng ulan kanina, halos hindi mo na makita ang mga tanawin gawa ng mist ng ulan. halos nagiging wild na ang mga reaksyon ng aking mga kaklase. may pagka-weird noh? hahaha. matapos ang klase, oras na para umuwi. nang ako'y lalabas na sa aming silid aralan kasama ang aking kaibigan na si Maureen, napangiti at nagulat sa aking nakita. hahaha. BUMAHA ang RCM. tssk. naisipan namin ni Maureen na kuhaan ang aming nakita gamit ang kanyang cellphone. heto ang mga litrato na aming nakunan. kayo na ang bahalang humusga.. hahaha. :))

Hello Senior Life :)

another school year has passed. and the new school year is about to come.
am I ready for the new challenges that will come this school year?
hhaha. I hope so.
for me, senior is the most exciting year in high school.
why? because senior students are so excited to enter college life.
some of them are taking entrance exams in different universities, and still
thinking what course will they take.

hmmm. as of now, I'm still preparing for my senior life.
because, I will meet new classmates, new teachers, new school directress/director, etc.
a TOTALLY NEW environment!

and I must admit, I'm also excited in entering college.
I really want to study in Ateneo De Manila University.
because the students there are so classy and sossy. hhaha.
and of course, it's a STATUS SYMBOL. :)
and obviously, the tuition fees are so high(BIGATIN AT MADUGO ang bayaran sabi ng iba).

I'm planning to take B.S. Tourism in Trinity University Of Asia,
located at Quezon City.

high school life is the best. I experienced copying the answers of my
classmates, especially in homeworks and exams.
hhaha. I will really miss my memories in high school when I enter my college life.

anyway, good luck to all the seniors out there in Roosevelt College Marikina.

ang video na ito ay tungkol sa planet nibiru na pinaniniwalaang babangga sa ating mundo sa darating na 2012. meron lng nagbigay sa aking ng impormasyon tungkol sa video na ito. nung una kong nakita ito, nagulat ako at natakot. pero, biglang sumagi sa isip ko na, walang kahit na sino ang makapag sasabi ng kahihinatnan natin sa hinaharap. siguro, gawa-gawa lamang ito ng mga taong walang magawa sa buhay. panoorin ninyo at kayo na ang bahala kung maniniwala kayo o hindi. nilagay ko lamang ito upang ibahagi sa inyo ang mga nakakalap kong balita. kung totoo man ito, siguro, oras na pra baguhin ntin ung mga sarili ntin. kelan ka magbabago? pag patay ka na? sana'y magbigay ito sa atin ng aral. hanggang dito nlng. :)))

making a stand and taking real action for the causes you believe in. Causes that you yourself can truly pursue to make a real, positive difference to your fellow countryman, to your country.

It is for you who still dare to hope that life for millions doesn't have to be a hopeless battle against problems like poverty, illiteracy, unemployment.

It is for you who believe that not enough is being done about our country's problems. And that to do right things, you'll do them yourself.

It is a movement where you can show your patriotism and compassion, and make these traits infectious.

Its about action that eradicates hopelessness in every Filipino.

How hard will this be to accomplish? Well that will be entirely up to you.
In AKO MISMO you get to choose the cause you wish to pursue. No cause is too small as long as it is a noble one. All we ask is that you make a pledge to do it.

You yourself can pledge anything: from teaching English to your yayas kid, to making sure that your barangay is dengue-free.

Or make a pledge to do your part in ending corruption, prostitution, illegal drugs or the inhumane treatment of animals. The choice is yours.

No matter how small, as long as you pledge that you yourself will take action, its sure to make a big difference.

Giving more hope for Filipinos to stop merely surviving, and start living. And it starts with you.

indignity of discrimination

heyy guys. i got so busy these days, that's why i did'nt have any new posts here. anyway,
while surfing the internet, i found these blog of a celebrity.

this is the experience of BB gandanghari that happened on the night of april 23 at the Aruba bar&restaurant.
here is the full narration of the incident.

“Rules,” Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, “are not necessarily sacred, principles are.” The incident that happened to me and my friends on the night of April 23 is an example of rules violating the principles which motivate humanity to live in equality, to treat each other with respect, and to uphold each other’s dignity.

I was all set to watch Rannie Raymundo’s show in Metrowalk. Dee and my assistant Sass were with me. I didn’t know where exactly in Metrowalk the show would be. So while I was on my way, I texted Maegan, who would also be watching with us. She told me that it was going to be in Aruba Bar & Restaurant. Upon hearing that it was going to be there, Sass brought up the unfortunate incident Inday Garutay experienced there. I heard it before but I didn’t know that it happened there. Feeling worried, I requested Sass to ask Aruba Bar & Restaurant whether they have any problem with me watching the show.

Sass talked to the bouncer of Aruba Bar & Restaurant but she was then referred to the manager. She asked Sass: “What is she wearing?” Sass told her that I was wearing what every modest woman wears. The manager then iterated the blatant “No Crossdressing” policy hanging on their door. Sass refused to accept her reasoning. The manager then offered to consult the owner of the bar. The manager returned and gave a compromise: We can stay outside of Aruba Bar & Restaurant. Sass left and narrated what she was told. We left Metrowalk and transferred into a bar that understands that bigotry is not a sound business strategy.

I have felt perhaps the same feeling Rosa Parks felt when she was asked to give up her seat so a white passenger could sit. We, and countless human beings like me, suffered and are continue suffering the same indignity of discrimination: Rosa Park was discriminated because of her skin color; human beings of transgender experience are being discriminated because of their gender identity, the deeply felt internal and individual experience of gender, which of course does not always match the sex assigned by the doctors upon our birth.

I wasn’t demanding any special treatment from them. I was just there looking forward to enjoy the music and performance of Rannie, just like any other human being inside their bar. Certainly, I dressed up as a woman because I am a woman. If I dressed up in a masculine way, that would be the time that I would be crossdressing. But let’s discard all the labels, it’s not the issue. I am a human being just like yourself, just like the owners of Aruba Bar & Restaurant. I’m a human being denied of her right to express her unique existence.

What special right does Aruba Bar & Restaurant have that they can just force human beings to conform their gender expression to the gender expression traditionally associated with their assigned sex at birth? What special right does Aruba Bar & Restaurant have that they can just inflict indignity on their fellow human beings? What special right does Aruba Bar & Restaurant have that they can just enforce such transphobic policies with impunity?

I don’t understand where they are getting these special rights. My Christian upbringing has instilled in me one of the two greatest principles Jesus Christ deemed to be the commandments at which all commandments bow. This principle is also common in all spiritual teachings: “Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself”.

We can also find this same principle in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood (Article 1). And “everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms…, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status (Article 2).” This is also echoed in the Yogyakarta Principles: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. Human beings of all sexual orientations and gender identities are entitled to the full enjoyment of all human rights (Article 1).”

Even the Philippine Constitution upholds this: “The State values the dignity of every human person and guarantees full respect for human rights. (Article II, Section 11).” Jesus Christ was all about love, compassion, and inclusion and never about discrimination. The Philippine Constitution and international law are all about upholding the dignity of each human being regardless of who and what they are.

Without a need for complicated mental calisthenics, discriminatory rules, practices, and policies are very incompatible with these principles. And history has shown that rules, practices and policies constantly change so society can fulfill the highest principles of humanity: women getting the vote, end of apartheid, outlawing child abuse, to name a few.

So what special right does Aruba Bar & Restaurant have that they can just enforce rules that violate these principles of humanity? What special right does Aruba Bar & Restaurant have that they can continue doing business like this for years? Since when did a business license become a license to violate human rights? Does my gender identity & expression violate their right to conduct their business in a socially responsible way? Why are we turning a blind eye to this inhumanity?

Enforcing gender conformity is not, and will never be, a corporate social responsibility; ending discrimination is. Philippines, it’s NOW time for change.

hmm. kahapon ng gabi(april 21), siguro mga 7:00 na
ng gabi ng mangyari ang insidenteng hndi ko inaasahan.

si mama, of course, love ko siya. pero may mga bagay
na hindi namin pinagkakasunduan. minsan hndi ko makuha
kung ano ba talaga ang gusto niyang ipahiwatig. palagi pang
galit. hayy.

nagkasagutan kasi kami kagabi. hindi ko nman sinasadya.
nawalan lng talaga ako ng control sa sarili ko. hindi ko kasi
nagustuhan yung pakikipag-communicate nya sakin. palaging sermon.
minsan, sumisigaw pa.

at ang isang kinaiinisan ko pang reason nya kpag nagagalit
sya sakin ay:
"madami akong problema , wag mong asahan na
magiging mabait ako sayo."

tama bang gawing rason ang problema sa
pagkakamali mo. of course, lhat ng tao may problema.
kasama yan sa buhay. as far as i know, naging mabait
nman akong anak sa knya. and i think na hndi ko deserve
ang tratuhin ng ganun.

mabuti nlng, may dalawa akong kaibigan na naka-txt ko.
at salamat sa kanila dahil gumaan ang loob ko.

as of now, hindi ko pa rin pinapansin si mama.
ewan ko ba. and dami ko sigurong hinanakit
sa kanya, kaya hndi ko magawang humingi ng tawad.

ang mga magulang kasi, minsan hindi naiintindihan
ang sitwasyon ng mga kabataang tulad ko
hayy. siguro nga, ganyan lng tlga ang buhay.
